Transitions

Snuffaluffagous.... my favorite word for this week.

So begins a period of goodbyes, mail forwarding, packing (with serious consolidation) and moving from the humid, sunny south to the cool, overcast north (consonance anyone?... I try). I spent my last weekend in Yazoo City which was really sad; I must say goodbye to an awesome group of people who rock and rule. The Way Cafe has been an anchor of sorts to ground me to the real world and give me teaching opportunities (need my fix.. I'm an addict). Leaving it will be like getting an amputation. I am already missing people here and I haven't left yet.

On a lighter side, we finally have Air Conditioning at the Cafe... and I get one night to enjoy it! Blast! I've sweated it out for nearly five years and then we get it fixed - conspiracy, I tell you.

Lastly, I am still raising support for Laos. The big deadline is June 15th when I need about 70% of my pledge support and about $9,000 raised in one-time giving. I do not know the specifics right now (because some things are just arriving and haven't been counted yet), but I still need a fair amount for both the pledge and one-time giving categories. Please consider becoming an investor in the work of the Father and the country of Laos.

Transitions are exciting... and sad... and a lot of work.
